This policy applies to information processed through the public website at sandsppf.om (English and Arabic), our customer communication channels, our warranty verification service, and our internal studio systems used to register and manage protection records.

It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we link to (such as WhatsApp, Instagram, or Google Maps), which are governed by their own policies.

Depending on how you interact with SANDS, we may process: your name; phone number (including Oman mobile numbers in international format); vehicle details such as make, model, finish colour, registration number where provided, and your studio-assigned protection code; service and warranty details including service type, service date, coverage end date, and warranty status; internal studio notes related to your record; and messages you send when requesting a quote, booking, or support.

When you use our website we may also collect standard technical data such as browser type, device type, approximate region, pages viewed, and referral source through privacy-focused analytics.

When you receive a protection service at SANDS, we create a warranty record linked to your customer profile and vehicle. Each service receives its own record and certificate identifier. Records may be active, expired, or voided for internal administrative reasons.

Warranty records are stored in a secure cloud database with access restricted to authenticated studio staff. Public visitors cannot browse this database directly; limited verification results are returned only through our controlled verification API when a matching phone number and protection code are supplied.

For studio operations, SANDS maintains an operational Google Sheet used as a structured backup and workflow mirror of warranty record data. When a record is created or updated in our database, a snapshot may be queued and synchronized to this sheet through an automated secure process.

Only authorized studio systems perform this synchronization. The sheet is not publicly accessible and is intended for internal studio use. Data transferred includes record identifiers and the fields needed to reconcile studio operations—not payment card data, which we do not collect through this website.

Our public verification page allows registered clients to confirm protection records by submitting the phone number and vehicle protection code provided in studio documentation.

Verification requests are processed on our servers, rate-limited to reduce misuse, and return only the information intended for client confirmation (vehicle details, registered protections, coverage status, and certificate data). We do not disclose whether a phone number or code exists separately—failed lookups receive a generic response.

Voided records are excluded from public verification results.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate website performance and usage trends (such as page views and general traffic patterns). This helps us maintain a reliable, fast experience for visitors in Oman and abroad.

Analytics data is processed in a privacy-oriented manner and is not used to sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this website.

When you contact SANDS through WhatsApp, phone, or during an in-studio consultation, we use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations, schedule appointments, and deliver services you request.

We do not operate a standalone account registration portal for the public. Staff administration accounts exist separately for internal studio operations and are not available for public signup.

We apply administrative, technical, and operational safeguards appropriate to a studio handling customer and vehicle records. These include authenticated staff access, advanced database security protocols, server-side verification instead of public database access, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and restricted use of privileged service credentials on our servers only.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We review our practices regularly and address issues that could affect the confidentiality or integrity of studio records.

We retain warranty and customer records for as long as needed to honour coverage, support verification, maintain service history for returning vehicles, meet legitimate business requirements, and comply with applicable law.

When records are voided internally, they may remain stored for audit and history purposes but are excluded from public verification.

You may request access to, correction of, or clarification about personal information we hold in connection with your SANDS records, subject to verification of your identity.

You may contact us to update contact details associated with your vehicle record through normal studio channels. If you believe information displayed during verification is incorrect, please contact the studio with your documentation so we can review the underlying record.

We will respond to reasonable privacy requests in a practical timeframe.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, systems, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when updates are published.

Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes notice of the revised policy.
